It has been a true privilege serving Town & Country these past four years as your Mayor. I have been so pleased by the positive response my campaign for re-election has received since we began this process in February, and I am grateful for the tremendous support you have given me and my family. What an honor it has been to meet so many of you to discuss the wonderful progress we have made as a community over the past four years, as well as the many challenges we will undoubtedly face together in the coming years. Certainly, much remains to be accomplished, and with your continued support, we will not only protect the progress that has already been attained, but move forward in several critical areas.

I cannot stress enough the importance of your voting on April 7th. As we've seen in the past, voter turnout for local elections is usually quite low, especially when there are so few issues on the ballot. I have been humbled by the incredible show of support I have received these past several weeks, but unfortunately, strong support alone does not win elections--votes do. Your vote really will make a difference. If you will be unable to vote on April 7th, please see the "Voting Early" page to learn how you may cast your absentee ballot in person or by mail.
Those of us who love Town & Country take pride in its position as a premier community and the standard-bearer in the vital areas of fiscal responsibility, public safety and security and preservation of greenspace. Our commercial, educational and faith-based institutions are well integrated into the fabric of our City and key to our long-term interests.
I am confident that over the next four years, our community will further emerge as a regional leader on issues of concern to not just Town & Country, but all of St. Louis County, particularly with respect to supporting a healthy business climate while being responsible stewards of our environment.
As Mayor, I have championed many positive initiatives and reforms to transform our community from one often known for its contentiousness, to a city now recognized for its peaceful, effective collaboration. I ask for your continued support in keeping Town and Country a city that prides itself on promoting good, transparent government by listening to constituent concerns, debating all of the issues thoroughly before acting, treating everyone respectfully and professionally, and collaborating with our residents to get things done together for the betterment of our community.
